The VW Beetle is still the best selling car of all time. They have a cult type status the world over. This example was a documented full body off
restoration done by it's last crazy owner. This restoration was done in 2001 by reVolks with a lot of attention to detail. Finished in Tampa Blue
Pearl Metallic over Dover White Pearl Metallic, everything was disassembled, nothing overlooked. The chassis has been coated and protected with POR 15
which is a non-porous coating that keeps moisture away from metal permanently and is practically indestructible. In 2003 it received an upgrade to a
12 volt electrical system, as well as a new engine and transaxle. The engine is a new potent 1681cc & the following was done: New Aluminum case long
block, new crank shaft, new cam shaft, new gears,
new bearings, new seals, new heads, everything brand new. Doghouse fan shroud (36 HP design style) w/ heater outlets, Dog house oil cooler,
Dog house fan (Large size), all cooling tins, Alternator stand alternator backing plates and strap, Chrome degreed crank pulley, chromed alternator
pulley, chrome coil cover, electric fuel pump, 009 distributor, Dual Carburetor kit includes – EMPI intake manifolds, Solex/Kadron 40mm Carburetors
and all linkages, Polished oil filler neck (tapped for oil breather system), Oil pump with integrated spin-on oil filter, Oil breather system,
Pair of heat exchangers, Ceramic exhaust header, Ceramic Bugpack muffler, additional 1.5 qt. Oil sump. New Kenwood stereo system added in 2006 with
Kenwood 6X9 rear speakers installed in speaker shelf. Rear speaker panel is upholstered with same material as rest of the interior. Additional Kenwood
tweeter speakers in lower front area of cabin. Additional JBL power amplifier and JBL 10 inch subwoofer. Old radio is still on dash just to keep the
classic look going. Total mileage since 2001 is only 3600 miles. Finished off w/a set of cool Empi chrome wheels...she is quite tastey & near mint
shape...ready to show & drive.
