In 1986, after running the car at all types of SAAC events & Drag Race event's all over the Country, Wayne Blue removed the original motor & the T-10 & stored them for later. He didn't want to ruin the original drivetrain, instead he installed a potent Ford Motorsport 500+ HP engine & a Tremac 3550 5 Spd; a 4.57 Detroit Locker rear end, lowered the front end & added an R type front apron & wheels. All original parts were retained. 1988 the car was painted & the # 777 was affixed on the doors.
