What do you say when you find one of the most beautiful cars in the world...& then you realize it's
just a Cougar...a Cougar you say ??? Yes...but not just any Cougar...! This magnificent speciman of
a Muscle Car is one of the rarest cars to exist...PERIOD ! The Cougar Eliminator was produced in 1969 & 1970.
It was the red headed stepchild when compared to it's cousins...the Boss 302 or even the Mach I,which were far more
popular. Completed on 12/10/69 & sold thru Fuquay Motor Co. from Fuquay Springs, North Carolina, this
example is finished in Competition Blue (essentally Grabber Blue) w/a White Std.interior. It is equipped as follows :
M-code 351-4v motor, J-code Competition.Blue, AA-code White Std.Bucket Seats w/Black appointments, 9-code 3.25 Std.Rear Axle ratio,
1-code 3 speed manual tranny (upgraded after this baby was delivered to a 4 Spd.),rare leather covered steering wheel,F70x14 Raised White letter tires,
Center Console, AM/8 Track Stereo Radio,Competition Suspension & Magnum 500's. It also includes the original Build Sheet (now quite
faded & falling apart). It has a deluxe Marti Report & a copy of the factory invoice. It has had a nut & bolt complete
restoration just a few years back...it still looks new ! This 1970 Cougar Eliminator is one of the rarest cars to have
been manufactured during the last year of the pure 1/4 mile burnin Muscle Cars. It truely is a perfect running & driving
experience to go along w/it's near perfect restoration. It will surely prove to be an excellent investment for the picky collector.
Imagine this "Pony Car" in your stable...it is for sure going to be a fun investment !
