The Excalibur Motorcar Corporation started life way back in 1963 w/an idea to make a modern day classic having
the old world meet the new technology of today. The 1st batch of new Excalibur cars were 2 seat Roadsters reminising
the original 1929 Mercedes SSK Roadster. They came w/new Chevy 327 motors w/either a 4 Speed or Automatic transmissions.
As the 70's rolled around, these SS Roadsters were getting a bit more luxuries' w/more creature comforts than ever before.
This example from 1972 was one of the the last sporty performance versions prior to governmental restrictions banning the
big V-8 motors & having better EPA specs for gas mileage. It was ordered new by John Bergstrom Auto Leasing for it's 1st owner,
Bob Vankampen of West Chicago, Illinois. Mr.Vankampen owned this baby form new thru it's last title being from 1994 & is still not
titled to a 2nd owner ever. It is finished in a special ordered beautiful color combo of GM White with Seminole Red fenders, matching
twin spares & a full Black leather interior. It has the ultimate performance combo of the Corvette "454" LS-5 motor w/a factory M-20 4 Speed
transmission making this the best performing & most beautiful SS Roadster that came out of the Milwaukee plant. Showing just 11500 miles on the odometer,
it is believed completely original. It is equipped w/power steering & brakes, factory Air Conditioning, power steering & power brakes from the current
Corvette part shelf, also a tilt & tele steering wheel, 6 wire wheels & an AM-FM stereo. It is in quite good order having a bit of original patina
that shows a geniune car & is ready to enjoy daily if you'd like. It also includes a huge folder from the Factory showing every piece of paperwork from new
including all letters back & forth between the 1st owner & the Factory, original bills of sale to the dealer & the owner, road test reports, build sheets, etc.
It has way to much paperwork to mention all of it. It has fresh brakes & runs beautifully in all respects. Take advantage of this ultra cool Excalibur Muscle
Car & drive your investment often while having a nice appreciation in it's value every year ! Put on your driving gloves...
